Today, Cate Allan is reinventing these archive designs, finding new ways to bring them into interiors, with a commitment to the finest materials and British production. 

The three rug designs highlight the diverse Richard Allan archive, from strong geometric pattern to repetitive organic forms. Originally hand-drawn or painted and scaled for screen-printing these artworks have been thoughtfully translated by the Roger Oates design team into tufted form, preserving the vibrancy and spirit of the originals. The collection reflects a shared commitment to exceptional materials, British craftsmanship and enduring design.
