Telephone orders

Should you prefer not to order online, we can take orders on +44 (0)7877-784323.  Outside office hours, please leave a message on the 24 message service.

Shipping

Due to the valuable nature of our merchandise, deliveries require a signature and will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery in the UK and by courier worldwide.

The majority of scarf orders are dispatched within 48 hours of receiving your order and payment. Please contact us should any item be out of stock and we will give you an estimated delivery time.

Unframed print orders are dispatched within 7 days.

For framed prints and bespoke items we will of course let you know delivery time when we talk over your special order.

Whilst we take every opportunity to ensure you, the customer, are paying all taxes on your orders at point of sale we are unable to ensure that customers outside of the UK will not also have to pay import duties on your purchase. Please check with your local tax office for more information on additional duties which might be levied against your Richard Allan purchase as these will have to be paid by the customer.

Returns

If you need to return your order, please notify us by email within 7 days of receipt at info@richardallanlondon.co.uk

Please securely package the item in its original packaging, including any additional accessories (gift box/cards) and ship tracked requiring signature on delivery, just as the order was delivered to you. 

The scarf/scarves must be returned undamaged, not have been used and in a fully resalable condition. As soon as your order arrives back with us, it will be quality checked by the team.

We will notify you as soon as this has been completed and the refund has been processed. Please allow between 5-7 working days for the funds to register back into your account.

If you would like to exchange your order for an item of the same value, please contact us with your full name and order number at info@richardallanlondon.co.uk 

Damage In transit or faulty Items

We check all despatches by hand and do not expect faults to occur, however in this unlikely event we will replace the item and refund your postal expense.

Should delivery damage occur, or an item is found faulty, please inform us within 48 hours of receipt (by telephone or email) and arrange for the item and any ‘damaged-in-transit’ packaging to be returned to us in the condition received.  The item will be replaced or refunded.  

Prices and descriptions

All sizes given are averages. All silks are handmade and slight variations from the examples shown on the website are possible. All prices online include VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%). VAT is deductible on items sent outside the EU (deducted automatically on website).
